Has this ever happened to you?
You’re in an interview. They ask you a question. And your mind goes blank.
Either you don’t have experience with whatever they are asking. Or you simply can’t think of an answer.
It’s the worst. As an interviewee obviously, but honestly even as an interviewer. You can’t help but have your heart break for this person.
I could see their faces fall, their hopes of getting the job completely dashed. It ruins the whole interview.
It doesn’t have to be that way though. I’ve experienced it first hand, people turning it all around. Recovering from the question. Doing well in the interview. Getting the job.
