4 JOB BOARD TIPS
I get it! 70-80% of jobs are found through some form of networking, so I understand why many career experts want you to focus on that. I’m one of those people.
But I don’t understand ignoring job boards all together!
Why? Well 20% of jobs ARE found through job boards - I found 2 jobs that way! Plus, networking can often leave us feeling impatient, at best, or anxious, at worst. Job boards, while yes they’re often black holes, can leave us feeling like we’re actually accomplishing something.
Which is why they DO have a place in an effective job search strategy and why I want you to include them.
The only thing I want - is for you to use them efficiently and effectively. Which is why my YouTube training this week is all about my 4 tips on how to use job boards to actually find a great job.
Head on over to watch it.

4 STEPS TO THAT PROMOTION
It’s normal to want to grow in our roles. Whether you’ve been in this role for a while or even just started it, knowing what the next step is and how to get there is how many of us tick.
What’s difficult is knowing how. Especially since we think it’s all about our work OR the people we know.
The thing is - working hard alone won’t get you promoted. And neither will focusing purely on networking (it may get you promoted, but at a cost).
That’s why I want to walk you through my 4 steps to securing that next promotion in a way that highlights your work while also building key relationships across an organization.

HOW TO STOP RAMBLING
I am a rambler. Too often in interviews I would find myself rambling, desperate to stop, but trying to pretend that nothing is the matter.⠀
I used to find it really difficult to reign it in during interviews. This took an already nerve-wracking experience and made it almost unbearable.⠀
But interviews are facts. They need to happen.⠀
And we can't let our fear of them stop us in our tracks. I can guarantee that will fill you with regrets.⠀
But how? How to we stop rambling in an interview?⠀
