There is so much information out there about writing resumes - so much of it conflicting and so much of it wrong.  😖

So I want to give you my top 10 tips - ones that come from my experience screening 100k resumes during my time as a recruiter and my 6.5 years of writing and helping clients write resumes as a Certified Professional Resume Writer.

But also, and most importantly, based on the statistics that exist out there.

Because here’s the thing - resume reading is subjective.  What I like isn’t what another recruiter may like.  For the big things down to the little things (like a period at the end of the bullet point - I like them but I know many don’t).  

That’s why we have to take the personal preference out of it and focus on hitting those majorities - what do the majority of resume readers (I’m including ATS in here) want to see.
