I definitely felt weird growing up.
I wanted to spend a lot of time by myself, my mental health needed it in fact. It wasn’t normal to want and need this. At least that was the message that was spread far and wide because extroversion is touted as the ideal. Even if that’s not the word that’s used, the underlying message is that we should desire to spent lots of time with other people, our schooling and workplaces tend to be designed for extroverts. It leaves many of us introverts feeling like there’s something wrong with us, that we need to be more like those extroverts. It may leave you feeling like your introversion is your greatest weakness. IT IS NOT. I 100%, with every fiber of my being, believe that your introversion is your greatest strength, your superpower even. And in this week’s YouTube training I’m going to show you all the reasons why. If you’re introvert - it’s a must watch. If you’re an extrovert who is a leader - I also think it’s a must watch!
