3 Lessons from getting laid off

I got laid off in 2009. A time very similar to this. It was the Great Recession, lay offs were happening everywhere.
And I was a recruiter. 
I thought that no one would hire someone like me when the world was full of hiring freezes. 
But that lay off was the best thing to happen to me. I had great results, but also the foundation of my approach to job seeking was born then.
Especially these 3 key lessons that set me up for success.  Ones that have set my clients up for success all these years later.
