Join the Find Your Dream Job Program for Networking November: www.saracurto.ca/cyla
The hardest thing about networking? Well besides how scary it feels! The next hardest thing? Knowing how to get started - saying we want to network is like saying we want to learn how be a better cook. It’s too big of a concept. Our brains instantly feel overwhelmed which means we end up doing nothing at all. So in this week’s YouTube video I’m making it super simple for you with the first 3 steps (and how to do them) that I want you to take so that you can get started networking. You can check out that video here! Also, if you really want to get super supported with networking than I invite you to join Networking November in the Find Your Dream Job program. It’s a series of micro-challenges that you will complete so that you can build your networking muscle, gain momentum and get so many opportunities coming to you.

I’ve been in the Career Space for 21 years (15 in HR and 6 in Coaching). I’ve helped people climb the career ladder. I know the secrets to accelerating the journey.
But most importantly, I know the mistakes that can slow your progress down to a snail’s pace or, worse, stop it altogether. There are 3 mistakes that really stand out because almost everyone who wants a promotion is making at least 1 of them. So if you’re an aspiring leader, then this video is a must watch. You’ll learn how to fix any mistakes you are making and learn how to avoid the ones you aren’t. Click here to watch! I’m an overthinker.
It’s just how my brain is built. Overthinking used to cost me so much: 😴 sleep because I would struggle with insomnia either initially falling asleep or in the middle of the night as I would comb back over all the interactions and conversations I would have in a day. 🕝 time because I would waste so much of it in a spiral of overthinking and overanalyzing. Rereading emails countless times before I hit send. Picking apart emails sent to me to try and interpret their real meaning. 😀 confidence and happiness as I struggled with SO MUCH. But not anymore. Now I do still overthink but only in a way that serves me and my clients (like all the reasons why someone may say “no” to you after an interview). I no longer overthink anything else. It was a 2 part recovery program. First I had to learn how to stop it in the moment and then I learned how to stop it FOR GOOD. I’m teaching you BOTH parts in this week’s YouTube video - you can find it here! |
